I already have retroarch installed and working but I'm just a bit more partial to emulation station.Ī) the debian package calls for old deprecated libraries that I can't seem to find with apt-getī) all versions of the sourcecode I've tried fail at some point during the build referencing a syntax error somewhere and my grasp on programming certainly isn't good enough to just fix the code myself. They did a great job with the layout and aesthetics. I have an ageing (2016) and fairly low power AMD laptop that I kinda wanted to turn into an emulation station after seeing an actual raspi arcade machine version.
I have some experience with linux but one thing I never really got good at was building source code that wanted to be difficult.
